 Camp Stardust: gatherings that matter.

Samantha Huggins + myself; we are here to support you in getting clear on where you come from so that you can chart your course for where you are going.

You are invited to join us for our summer virtual retreat (we are working on two in person retreats so stay tuned) online for three days in July!

We are Samantha Huggins and Sera Bonds. We share a deep, soulful commitment to community and a life lived in equal parts joy and justice. Together we have four decades worth of experience supporting, championing people through the fires that forge them. We are collaborating on this retreat offering as we individually and collectively emerge from the recent transformation of a year of loss, grief, isolation, and pivots to declare to the world that we are here and we are ready.

What?

Camp Stardust is a gathering of makers, dreamers, and doers who have hit a wall on their next big idea and are looking for community support. We are looking for attendees who are ready to name, reckon, and reconsider their own obstacles so that they can get out of their own way and focus on sharing their talents with the world. Collectively, we will let those blocks in your life know that their time is up through individual and group sessions, writing prompts, neighborhood nature scavenger hunts and more!

Where?

Our July retreat will be virtual and so this means you can attend from anywhere! Your couch, your backyard, your fire escape, your boat. You will need wifi, a device to stream the event, paper, pen, water, courage, grace, your sense of humor, and anything else that brings you stability and grounding.

When?

July 14-16, 2021

9am-4pm CST each day with a 90 minute break for lunch each day (11:30-1 CST)

Why?

In her book, The Color Purple, Alice Walker, expands on writer Virginia Woolf’s claim that women need a room of their own. We would assert that after more than a year in quarantine we  are all being called to find a room of our own in a new, innovative, and creative way. That “room” has always lived within us and in the last year we’ve been called to value it more than we could’ve possibly imagined. For some of us that “room” is literally a nook, a much loved chair, a solo walk through your neighborhood, and often in the last year, a zoom room. We all need space to do the deep work required of us to be who the world is asking us to be. We all need a room of our own and we are calling you to join us in building one rooted in reciprocity.  Together we will rise.
